The Staff Room understands how challenging working within a school environment can be and we are always here to listen to any concerns or feedback from our teachers and support staff.

Safeguarding and the welfare of children are the most important aspects of any assignment. If you witness or experience any concerns or incidents while undertaking a booking, we are here to offer support and guidance. All safeguarding concerns must be reported immediately to a member of the school’s safeguarding team, as they will manage the matter in-house and follow their own procedures as appropriate.

If an incident occurs where a worker is involved, a member of The Staff Room team listed below will be available to guide and liaise where necessary:

Each year, the Keeping Children Safe in Education document is updated. Due to the importance of its content, we ask all teachers and support staff to confirm that they have read Part 1 of the document. Once confirmation has been received, we will arrange reimbursement for your time, which will be paid in the following week’s payroll.

All workers are also required to complete the annual Safeguarding for Teachers & Staff course. Upon completion, we will reimburse you for your time.

There is always someone available to listen, offer support, or simply be a friendly voice should you ever need one.
